We have experience in not only moving to Australia ourselves, but also in helping people from various countries move to Australia and start work in the Newcastle region. The process can basically be broken down into helping you to secure a job offer, assisting to obtain your medical registration and then putting you in touch with a migration agent for your visa.
Obviously a very important first step...
We work closely with multiple hospitals within the Hunter region to try and find a job that meets your requirements and provides what you're looking for. Currently most of the roles we're recruiting for are based around Emergency Medicine, but if you have a keen interest in other areas, it is often possible to get a role which may include some overlap in that speciality.
Once we've found a role suitable for you, we can put you in touch with the relevant individuals and help arrange interviews (bearing in mind the often substantial time-zone difference!).
Don't know your EPIC from your AHPRA? No worries!
This is undoubtedly the most confusing step for many people, however we can help talk you through every part of the process and ensure that we can get you registered with the least stress and in the quickest time possible. We'll send you a written guide early on, explaining the entire process and then remain on hand for regular check-ins and available for any questions you have.
Finally, you're almost here...
Once we've helped arrange your medical registration with AHPRA, you can finally arrange your visa and then start packing your bags for the journey! The different hospitals within the region use different migration agencies, so we will prepare the appropriate handover documents to enable them to efficiently process your visa application. Even after the handover, we'll remain available for any questions you may have, ranging from the best areas to live in, to setting up your phone and bank accounts.
